FRANCE GALL - SI L'ON POUVAIT VRAIMENT PARLER
i know some people get less keen on f.g. the further we edge away from the 60's - but this song from 74 is just gorgeous. written by michel berger. it's bordeline francoise hardy. stunning.

Hi Mordi - I've been visiting your blog for a while and I couldn't let your last few France Gall posts (and great photos) go without comment. I've been getting into the first LP with Michel Berger after initial misgivings, but soon found it going round in my head constantly. Keep up the good work (noticed your blog got a mention on the recent vinyl issue of C'est Chic) Seasidetreats

I really enjoyed this! I don't know her 70s songs at all.

Why was the Serge Gainsbourg movie so mean-spirited toward France Gall?

I'm not so convinced by this, seems to be going quite nicely and then the drums come in!
