I heard this song first a few years ago. It's from the documentary Wretches & Jabberers (which I haven't seen). I hoped it would be part of a new Vashti album, because here she sounds again as she used to in 1970 and not as she did on Lookaftering, which I didn't like very much. Just another diamond day and the Some things just stick in your mind compilation are two of my all time favorite records. Vashti's singing on those sounds like she's sitting beside you on the couch and whispering in your ear. Flower and the lion had the same quality again. Hope she returns with songs like this.

no one could accuse vashti of having a sense of urgency when it comes to releasing albums!
