I watched Melancholia the other night. Many strong performances and CG holds her own with aplomb. Perhaps not the cheeriest movie, but hey, von Trier. What did you think?

i thought CG was AMAZING in the second half and got to show why she is such a great actress - she does being scared very well!
at least she didn't cut her fanny off in this one.
are von trier movies ever cheery!? he just seems to enjoy filming women trapped and in distress! (in saying that, i LOVE dancer in the dark, breaking the waves and dogville)
