what is mordi listening to?

i'm not too sure why or how this came about but this collection of songs sung by french actresses appeals very much to me. check out virginie ledoyen cover niagara and listen as valerie lemercier manages to make one of all time fave songs (par amour, par pitie) still sound heartbreaking.

listen to marianne sing and chat at the bbc in 65 and 66. her voice is amazingly pure, innocent and very very english!

the new album 'toystore' from coralie clement is much nearer the brilliance of her debut album - there is a duet with etienne daho plus she covers the amazing lio song 'la reine des pommes'

the new album brought to you from my brilliant blog buddy guuzbourg - check out some cool versions of serge classics here. recommended listening.

so that's what i am listening to - discuss!
