JANE BIRKIN - CLASSEE X
there are so many fantastic jane b songs, it was hard to choose which one to post!

Hi Mordi, neither this nor the Jane B one is working for me. Files not found or something like that. Is it because I haven't commented enough ? :D

Great song!! Serge liked to challenge himself to write songs with rhymes in "ex", "ix", "ax", etc., i.e; the most difficult ones (remember 'Comment Te Dire Adieu'). He just hated rhymes in "é", he used to leave them to doggerel writers!!. Mordi, you cannot go wrong with a Jane Birkin song. One of my favourite ones is 'Le Canari Est Sur Le Balcon'. The song lyrics are in fact a suicide note. The girl is lying on her bed, with the gas turned full on, and the note says that her canary bird can be found on her balcony...
